2. Position Summary

Develop and manage the correct direction and daily activities of the Industrial Hydraulic, PNE/EMD Manufacturing function for OOOO Korea.

Advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by managing and improving the quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety of a value stream team.

3. Scope/Supervision & Interaction

This job has supervisory responsibilities up to IND Hyd/ PNE/EMD Jangan location of  MSDK.

Production schedule for product management, production-line support for problems.

Directly manage Production group and report to Value stream Manager.

Closely work with Value stream manager to decide future direction of production and  routine troubleshooting, also other department.

4. Essential Functions :

- Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources for projects related to process improvement or equipment implementation. 

- Process Management: Overseeing the machining process, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, and optimizing production flow. 

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of machining processes, including CNC machining, MCT, Honing, and Grinding machining. 

- Continuous Improvement: A drive to identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. 

- Quality Control: Ensuring parts meet required specifications through inspection and quality control measures.

- Quality Focus: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of machining.  

- Lean Enterprise: Integrates the principles of lean manufacturing with the structured risk assessment of PFMEA

- Utilize direct and indirect manpower and manage with most efficiently way to maximize goal of productivity, Production Quality, customer service, reducing cost.

- Establishes and maintains premier customer service.

- Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.

- Responsible for Environmental Health and Safety for areas of responsibility.

- Ensures the operation has adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics.

- Monitor inventory movement and inventory level and feedback to SCM.

5. Qualifications:

- Understanding Manufacturing process and procedure with 10 years experience.

- Must have Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively work with people in a team environment.

- Excellent communications and interpersonal.

- Understanding of computer  including ERP data base structure and EXCEL, Power Point, Word to provide efficient way to manage.

- Knowledge of Lean enterprise principles and practices.

- Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

- New or manufacturing factory machining lines set up and processing technology know-how experience

- Open mindset (able to proactively respond to changes - successful case examples in resume are important)

- business level English preferred
