& IDU)
The ASEAN-Korea Centre is seeking Project Assistants of ASEAN and
Korean nationality to assist in organizing, coordinating and implementing programs
under the Culture and Tourism Unit*(CTU) and the Information and Data Unit (School
Tour and Outreach School Tour programs*).
* The
strategic direction of the Culture and Tourism Unit (CTU) is to develop
initiatives and programs that foster cultural and tourism exchanges, enhance
mutual understanding, and promote appreciation between ASEAN and Korea.
*The School
Tour and Outreach School Tour are youth education programs designed to promote
awareness of ASEAN and ASEAN-Korea relations through lectures and various other
activities, held at the Centre or in schools across Korea.
About the Organization
The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) is an Intergovernmental Organization
mandated to promote economic and socio-cultural cooperation between Korea and
the 10 ASEAN Member States. With a vision to build a lasting and genuine
partnership between ASEAN and Korea, the programs of the AKC are geared towards
increasing trade, promoting investment, invigorating tourism and expanding

Hall •Support
communications with relevant organizations, stakeholders, etc. •Research
and monitor recent culture and tourism related trends and issues •Collect
and update data and information on culture and tourism •Draft and
translate documents (English and Korean) Support logistics and other
related administrative duties |

School Tour) |
School Tour Project Assistant (IDU) is responsible for
assisting the in-charge officer of the School Tour Programs in carrying out
the following duties: • Plan and implement School Tour programs • Draft and prepare presentations and
educational materials for School Tour programs • Assist communication to collaborate with
Embassies to the School Tour programs • Acquire, organize, and manage resources at
the ASEAN-Korea Connecting Lounge Information Corner and archive Centre¡¯s
publications • Handle inquiries from visitors • Support
other P2P programs • Support
other related administrative duties in IDU |
(2) Qualifications
-
Bachelor¡¯s degree from an
accredited academic institution
-
Relevant experience in community
outreach, public diplomacy or related field in international
(inter-governmental) organizations, national/international institutions,
government organizations and/or private companies is preferred.

Fluent communication skills in
both English and Korean
-
Proficiency in MS office and
video/photo editing skills are preferred
- Should
follow under Article 33 of the Public Officials Act and not be disqualified from overseas travel.
Employment Conditions
- Employment Period: 6 months
- Gross Salary per month: KRW 2,406,270

- 2nd round: On-site English
writing test and Interview

- 3rd round: Health
screening (only for those who have passed the 1st and 2nd
round of the selection process)

The final result will be notified
individually to the selected candidates

Additional Information
- In the event of discovery of
incorrect information/error and/or cheating in the application form and
interview, the relevant applicant will be disqualified. In the event the
discovery of such grounds for disqualification occurs after the results have
been announced, the Centre will withdraw its final offer.
- For any cancellation of acceptance
or disqualification for employment, the next highest scoring applicant may be
considered for employment.

employment offers and re-start the recruitment process.
