MISSION -Leading cosmetic product development projects: from brief to validated formula data. a. Co-build the brief and product concept with the Marketing teams in Paris. Contribute to cosmetic product concept ideation and first feasibility studies. b. Contribute to refining the product target with development teams (complexity, price, technical, and financial feasibility). c. Ensure that the actives proposed by the Active project lead meet the brief. d. Brief Third Party Manufacturers (TPM) on requirements. Brief clearly and track with Third Party Manufacturers (TPM) on requirements in marketing`s project launch plan (AP), including formula criteria, active ingredients, timeline, etc. e. Evaluate each formula submission, coordinate sensorial evaluation, and feedback from Paris-based marketing. f. Follow-up TPM adherence to requirements on every submission. Challenge TPM on technical choices and limitations. Advise TPM on technical choices and limitations when possible. g. Reach formula validation by Paris-based marketing within launch deadlines. h. Collect the necessary data on submissions throughout the process: price, composition, naturality, OK RM charter, etc. i. Register validated formulation, specification, stability data in the internal R&D system. j. Request clinical test samples from TPM and share with the administrator to meet the test schedule. k. Manage the timelines for each project. -Build and develop fruitful relationships for development and innovation with Third Party Manufacturing partners. -Working with: a. Third party manufacturers in Korea. b. Seoul-based product development teams: formulation laboratory, packaging development, New Product Development coordination, marketing. c. Expert product development teams in France: active ingredients, clinical evaluations. d. Marketing team in Paris: product managers, group leaders, directors. -Reporting to: SCK¡¯s R&D team leader.
REQUIRED SKILLS -Fluency in written and spoken ENGLISH and KOREAN is a must. -Experience in PROJECT MANAGEMENT for cosmetic product development, ?preferably with third party manufacturers, is a must. -A technical background in cosmetic science is a must. -Must be KOREAN or already qualified to work in Korea.
