MISSIONS 1/ New product development (NPD) launch planning - According to the existing NPD process, set up the launch retroplan upon receiving Marketing brief in order to reach the best Material Availability Date (MAD). - Follow development with stakeholder teams and if needed raise, alerts Marketing and update retroplan. - Identify, raise and propose solutions to unblock the obstacles that arise during the development process. Propose scenarios as needed to evaluate the balance among price, quality, timing and delivery risks. - Co-accountable for the respect of the MAD. - Weekly stakeholder meetings, weekly report, quarterly meeting (NPD committee).
2/ Risk Management & Problem-Solving - Identify potential risks in advance and establish response strategies with the correct stakeholders. - Coordinate the resolution of key issues such as schedule delays, budget overruns, and quality concerns.
3/ New product development costs control - Set up the cost limits of every component at product design stage (formula, packaging, manufacturing cost etc.) for financial feasibility. - With the relevant stakeholders on formula, packaging, manufacturing, marketing: contribute to evaluating different design hypothesis in case of blocking points. - In charge of the quotation steps with Third Party Manufacturers: preparation, sending, reception and verification, negotiation if needed, transmission to Finance and Marketing. - Co-accountable for the product margin thresholds.
4/ Performance Analysis & Process Improvement - Suggest and test new ways to work to lower risks, lower global costs, speed up development timing. - Analyze project performance and derive key learnings for future improvements. - Edit quarterly and yearly reports on KPI. - Stakeholders: External: third party manufacturers in Korea. Internal teams in Korea: R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, Quality, Production, Marketing teams. Internal teams in France: Marketing, New product development, Finance, Supply chain, Test, Active and Operations, Regulatory teams.
