A (delegated) CISO is a functional leader and single point responsibility for Business Information Risk and Assurance activities, bringing oversight, quality, and timely completion within Hankook Shell. Reasonable expectations from the government are


- Responsible for raising awareness and understanding of information risks and threats.

- IT experience of at least 3 years
- Needs to be part of the audits
- Will need to attend the meeting scheduled at the government agent’s office
- Needs to sign papers in local language


Local IT Manager for Hankook Shell ? Additional responsibility

- As a part of this role, member will be required to provide:
- JDE Application Support
- JDE Audits support
- Face-off to the Business Leads for any IT issues
- Drives assurance of activities to the appropriate IRM strategies, standards guidelines, policies and security behaviors
- Adoption of the correct IRM behaviors within Hankook on behalf of IRM and the IDT function
- Proactive, dynamic engagement to ensure the right IRM requirements are understood and adopted.
- Acts as advisor to the General Manager and IDT Manager on information risk matters, management in control status
reporting and interface with key (government) assurance stakeholders.
- Ensures business ownership of Information risk in a transparent manner
- Determines risks, requirements and assurance activities relating to Joint Ventures, and ensures proper processes are
followed at the new Business development phase to minimize any future potential risks



Special Challenges:

- Candidate should be able to speak in South Korean and English language. This is a mandate for the role.
- To ensure successful landscape service performance partnership needs to be built with the IDT Managers,
IT Operations Engineers for BC and non-BC applications and the Business Vertical & Common Services Delivery
Managers.
- Strong ownership that ensures proactive and further active involvement in all projects that have IT
infrastructure/operations element.
- Should have an excellent grounding in IT infrastructure solutions, operations, particularly in the network space.
Also show strong knowledge in related areas such as IT Service Management.
- Strong dotted line to local natural team (e.g. Real Estate/HSSE/Asset Protection) supporting all aspects of site(s)
operations.
- SOL is the local go-to person on site(s) for data related to IDSO services including: Volumes, Rates, Financial and
contractual data.
- Participate in the 8*5 Rota “follow the sun” of the global DS SOL community


Unique Skills & Requirements of the Posting

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in complex organization or equivalent
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Understanding financial planning and basic knowledge of finance
- Skilled in systematically troubleshooting complex issues to a root cause and reporting out to stakeholders in
business language
- Skilled in investigating and fixing complex issues across organizational boundaries, including vendors
- Emotional intelligence (i.e., patience, listening, self-reflective, thoughtful, ability to build trusting relationships,
reasoning, and understanding)
- Strong relationship and influencing skills with people at all levels in the organization and in diverse cultures.
- Ability to work with other disciplines in a global environment, and to bridge technical, commercial and IT skills.
- Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations
- Ability to work effectively and maintain composure under pressure
