🗨️ About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Operations team within Lunit Oncology group. This team drives execution excellence across the oncology portfolio by ensuring clarity, alignment, and operational rigor across the organization.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of high-impact biopharma programs and strategic industry collaboration, with a primary focus on AI-powered oncology biomarker and CDx development projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from post-contract approval through final delivery, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication are handled with precision, transparency, and consistency.
As a senior individual contributor, the position requires strong execution leadership, structured problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments. This role plays a critical part in turning complex scientific objectives into actionable plans and enabling successful collaboration with global biopharma partners. The position also offers a clear growth path toward program-level ownership as biopharma collaborations expand in scope and move into later-stage and commercial activities.
🚩 Roles & Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
Lead the end-to-end execution of biopharma projects, with a focus on AI-powered oncology biomarker and CDx development projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure effective execution and clear visibility.
Manage the project lifecycle from post-contract approval to final delivery, overseeing all executional and operational components such as data receipt, resource and timeline coordination, deliverable preparation, and final output review and submission.
Direct external communication with biopharma partners in close collaboration with the business unit, leading project kick-off meetings and coordinating partner-facing progress updates and documentation delivery.
Track deliverables against contractual requirements to ensure accurate progress reporting and revenue recognition.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution Strategy
Facilitate cross-functional alignment across AI, engineering, medical, and business functions to ensure shared priorities and coordinated execution.
Enable project-level decision-making by clarifying objectives, resolving cross-functional issues, and escalating risks when necessary.
Maintain structured project visibility through consolidated status tracking, risk assessment, and milestone monitoring.
Translate high-level scientific and business objectives into clear execution frameworks that guide cross-functional teams throughout the project.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
Drive improvements to internal workflows, tools, and templates to enhance repeatability, scalability, and overall efficiency, while contributing to the evolution of project operation frameworks and best practices.
Identify execution risks early and resolve cross-functional issues by implementing mitigation plans to ensure stable, predictable, and uninterrupted project delivery.
Ensure that project activities comply with applicable quality, regulatory, and industry standards, as required for oncology and diagnostic development.
