Warehouse Specialist – Fulfillment Center (Techtaka Inc. | Cerritos, CA)

[Position Summary]
Techtaka Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support daily fulfillment operations at our Cerritos, CA facility. This role assists with order processing, receiving, inventory control, WMS tasks, and general warehouse workflow. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to learn logistics system operations.
[Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment]
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to quality and accuracy standards
- Create shipping labels and assist with outbound shipment processing
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct items, quantities, and packaging
Receiving & Inventory
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Stock items into proper warehouse locations
- Assist with cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy reporting
- Monitor low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Support kitting, repack, and special project tasks
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified)
- Report workflow delays, damaged items, or safety concerns to leads
WMS & System Support
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to update order status, scan items, and check inventory
- Support team members with basic WMS functions after training
- Report system issues, missing data, or errors to supervisors
Documentation & Communication
- Record accurate data for all assigned tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow company policies, safety rules, and operational guidelines
Qualifications Preferred
- Prior warehouse or fulfillment experience (not required)
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn WMS functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
