*Position summary:
The Korean PM SCM team is hiring a SCM Planner for PMU in Yeosu. The role involves managing the OMP fine planning for the Yeosu PMU plant and being responsible for raw materials planning and replenishment based on rough-cut planning managed by Regional SCM. The planner will also support and perform various activities for PMU plant in Yeosu, including inventory management, production order management, and rework material management. Additionally, the planner will strengthen and support local efforts to achieve supply chain performance KPIs.

*Main Tasks:

1.Production Planning:

-Review demand forecasts and clarify the demand plan with sales and other plants.
-Align demand with production capacity and inventory levels.

-Manage constraint planning due to capacity or raw material shortages/bottlenecks, taking preventive or corrective actions to balance available resources according to priority.

-Issue weekly and monthly production schedules for each vessel/reactor to fulfill rough-cut production demand in a timely manner, considering both productivity and customer requested ETAs.
-Collaborate closely with Regional SCM, OMP planners, and the export team regarding material availability (Ex-work date) for shipment arrangements.

2.Raw Material Replenishment Planning:

-Set up MRP parameters for raw materials to automate the replenishment process in SAP.
-Run SAP MRP to determine the net demand for raw materials monthly, reviewing data accuracy and replenishing accordingly

-Create purchase requisitions (PR) through the proper approval process.

-Liaise with Regional SCM, procurement, and shared service teams for purchase order (PO) creation.
-Provide actual consumption data for key raw materials and projections to respective regional planners.

-Monitor incoming raw materials closely.

-Work closely with the shared service center and procurement team to adjust replenishment orders and delivery dates based on updated demand.
-Collaborate with the site logistics and import team to develop a detailed Goods Receipt schedule aligned with the production schedule.

3.Inventory Management (including HOI - Health of Inventory):

-Initiate and lead stock optimization actions (redeployment, sell-off, write-off).
-Report on inventory status and provide necessary input for inventory analysis and target setting.

4.Production Order Management:

-Ensure that SAP BOM is accurately managed by Process Engineers with the correct article numbers.
-Create production orders in a timely manner, ensuring proper product issuance and goods receipts.

-Assist in processing all production information after each run according to company guidelines.

-Monitor all downtimes closely and advise Regional SCM and the Plant Manager accordingly.

5.Pre S&OP Process:
-Monitor and balance the following areas according to defined KPIs: sales forecast, inventory objectives, customer service, planning quality, schedule adherence, and production commitments.
-Prepare monthly supply review meeting data and actively contribute to and participate in the meetings.

6.EHS:
-Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety rules and guidelines, maintaining high safety standards and a safe working environment.

7.Others:
-Support and attend audits.
-Perform any tasks assigned related to SCM excellence projects and production planning.

*Education/Qualifications required:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Chemical Engineering.

-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, and operations management.

-Experience with SAP (Material Master/MM & SD, P2P, etc. modules) and international trading.
-Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

-Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English communication and native level of Korean.
