한국 배터리 제조사를 대상으로 배터리(2차전지용 화학 기능성소재) 사업 개발(Battery business development)

메인 아이템 : 2차전지(배터리) 양극, 음극, 분리막에 적용되는 PVDF 아크릴계 소재

- 배터리 마켓 매니저, 한국 영업팀과 밀접히 협력하여 연례 제품 개발 계획을 준비, 마일스톤 관리에 기반한 실행 계획

- 한국 영업팀과 협력하여 고객의 기술 질문에 답변하고, 정기적으로 주요 고객을 방문하여 문제 해결과 새로운 기술 정보 교환 진행

- 연구 개발 팀과 협력하여 고객의 상세한 피드백을 공유하고, 제품 범위 개선에 기여

- 연간 사업개발 주도 및 고객관계 구축관리

- 혁신적인 아이디어를 제안하고, 새로운 시장과 제품 개발에 참여

- 2차전지/배터리 관련 컨퍼런스,/박람회 등 참여. 개최

- 기업내 프로세스를 적용하여 신소재 적용처 개발

- 산업 동향, 경쟁사 활동 및 시장 조건을 모니터링하여 잠재적인 위협과 기회를 판단

-주요 고객사 국내 2차전지 기업 및 2차전지 소재기업 /완성차 기업 등

 

*자격요건 및 우대사항

-화학 및 화공, 신소재, 고분자, 재료공학. 금속공학, 에너지 공학 등 화학 및 고분자 관련 공학 전공자

-2차전지(배터리)소재 산업에서 기술지원이나 R&D, 혹은 영업 경력자

-업무상 영어활용 가능자

-커뮤니케이션 역량이 좋은 자

-화학 관련 업계 경험자 우대

 

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Battery Business Development for Korean OEMs

1. Business Development

 • Lead the annual business development plan in close collaboration with the Market Manager and local Sales Team.

 • Initiate and manage customer relationships

    o    Support both maintenance and growth of existing product lines

    o    Promote new products and identify customer technical needs and opportunities.

2. Customer Technical Support & Relationship Management

 • Act as the primary technical interface for Korean OEM customers, responding promptly and accurately to technical inquiries.

 • Conduct regular visits to key accounts to strengthen customer relationships

 • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality technical solutions and maintaining proactive communication.

3.Innovation & Market Development

 • Proactively identify new market opportunities and propose innovative product concepts.

 • Represent Arkema at industry tradeshows and conferences, delivering impactful presentations and gathering market intelligence.

 • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate risks and identify growth opportunities.

4. Data Management & Internal Coordination

 • Document all customer interactions and technical feedback in CRM database

 • Initiate internal requests to the BU Battery BD Manager based on customer needs and feedback.

 • Deliver clear and actionable experimental reports to customers following internal testing and validation.

5. Collaboration with Global R&D

 • Serve as the voice of the customer within the WW R&D team, sharing detailed feedback and insights.

 • Contribute to product range evolution by aligning customer needs with R&D capabilities and innovation roadmaps.

Can Drive the implementation of new products and applications using Arkema’s stage/gate methodology.

 

JOB DIMENSIONS

The BD and will be in charge of new biz development and tech service and data generation for Battery Business for domestically and globally. There are 3 big battery OEMs in Korea and this position is very important to communicate and make new business for battery application.

This position will focus at first on Kynar® PVDF but could be extended to other materials of Arkema’s portfolio for battery applications. 

 

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

As South Korea is taking the lead in battery market, competition between materials development companies is quite high. Battery BD need to closely monitor customer requirements, market trends, and competitors' activities to propose solutions for battery applications using Kynar PVDF.
