PLM/PDM is a function within Group Digital & IT. We have the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives in tight collaboration with business areas across the Volvo Group, modernize and transform existing solutions and products through securing agile ways of working across the Volvo Group,  

As Solution delivery leader (DPO: Digital Product Owner) in Volvo Construction Equipment, you transform the product roadmap into a tangible backlog of team deliverables. You ensure that all activities are aligned with digital product vision, business priorities, and Volvo Group’s overall digital strategy.  

The work is performed in close collaboration with our Stakeholders at different sites mostly in Volvo CE, the Digital Product Manager (DPM), the Digital Product Area Owner (DPAO) and the Stable team.  Your mission is to understand the Product’s roadmap and how we contribute to it. Your focus is to handle stakeholder requests, to make sure the requests are transferred to the team backlog, prioritized according to Sprint Planning and delivered by the stable team according to the agreements and KPI’s as Quality, time, and cost. 

 Key Responsibilities as Solution delivery Leader (DPO: Digital Product Owner) 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT solutions across multiple business domains. 

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality technology solutions. 

Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery. 

Oversee vendor relationships and third-party service providers to ensure alignment with project goals 

Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.), and tools. 

Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and data privacy standards. 

Provide leadership and mentorship to solution delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. 

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance. 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 

8+ years of experience in IT project or product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 

Proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions on time and within budget. 

Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies. 

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
