Finance Advisor Supply Chain
Functional Leadership
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the business stakeholders as well as contacts in Regional Finance and Supply Chain as appropriate Strategy and Planning (Long term/Annual Cycle)
Operational Plan: Participate in the planning process as required with special focus on the operationalization of the agreed plan at local level, including setting detailed KPI targets.
Consolidate and reconcile the operational plan and ensure it is correctly captured in the systems.
Business Decision Support (Mid-Term/Ad hoc)
Investment/Divestment/New Business Development/Business Model Conversion (Opportunity Realization Process): Provide operational Finance support to the preparation of proposals pertaining to the project lifecycle including Capex project and conduct economic evaluation using DOVAMO.
Projects: Implement the Streamline process and MI standards consistently.
PIMS: support financial data preparation, analysis and improvement action review
Business Appraisal (Short Term/Monthly)
Financial performance (Actuals): Review integrity of financial data. Track and reconcile adjustments.
Perform plant costing, LOBP Activity rate compilation and implementation.
Latest estimates input into the Cluster LE at local level. Prepare envelope/the latest estimate for LSC OPEX. Collate data such as CAPEX, Depreciation, DIO, DPO, Fit4 saving, R&O, LSC C5 Margin and submit in LE Exercise.
Variance analysis (OPEX, CAPEX, Volume, Margin): Collect and consolidate business KPI actuals. Lead the cost challenge sessions with the relevant functional business.
Value chain/Trend analysis (complex, multi-dimensional analysis): Deliver analysis of channel profitability, exposure, value chain etc through engagement with the business.
Commentaries and Action plan: Produce management commentaries on key business performance indicators
Manage working capital through monthly analysis of storage levels and costs, collaborating with Logistics and Planning teams to optimize stock management.
