Senior Manager, Wholesale Marketplace Management
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned major distribution chains by managing new property and contract renewal
Key Responsibilities:
Real Estate (New Property & Contract Renewal) & Channel Development
- Manage identifying potential locations & evaluate alternative locations on demand.
- Manage channel store development through seamless commnuication with department stores for business enhancement
- Set up expansion strategy based on profit evaluation by developing P&L by channel /by storein co-working with sales team & retail team - Drive BPM process.
- Manage the negotiation conditions and contract status based on company¡¯s needs.
- Manage signature of contract aligned with legal team.
- Control and in charge the LMS (Lease Management system) and PAD (Portpolio activities governance) update
- Build and maintain close relationship with landlords for new store openings, rent re-negotiations of current stores before contract expire.
- Ensure to identify all channels opportunities and partners jointly with sales team member.
- Ensure to closely work with WHS & Retail relevant stakeholders for potential opportunities in key trade areas.
- Manage the set-up and the implementation of channel store development activities by collaborating as well as coordinating all involved functions.
- Monitor and report on customers and provide realistic plans & forecasts on customer performance.
- Monitor all reports and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions.
- Ensure negotiation with major distribution chain and channel management.
- Ensure development of channel management and new business by co-working with Retail marketplace management team
- Negotiate and enforce adidas Group trade terms
Key Relationships:
Retail and Sales department / Legal / Free Standing Store Landlords, Department Leasing Team / aGlobal Real Estate/ Buisness Development Team / Real Estate Agents etc
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Fluent in English and Korean
- Advanced knowledge of real estate (new property & contract renewal)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
- Channel / Store Development Experience: +7 years
