About The Role:
Demand & Sales Planning
- Lead category demand forecasting and sales planning to achieve business targets.
- Oversee weekly/monthly category meetings, proactively drive strategic agenda.
- Steer the IBP cycle, embed business strategy, and develop an 18-month rolling demand plan including baseline, promotions, and seasonality.
- Consolidate and analyze sell-in/sell-out data; manage regular category sales reports and monitor anomalies.
- Lead demand/supply consensus processes and manage KPIs (forecast accuracy, MAPE) for the category.
Portfolio & Inventory Management
- Oversee product portfolio and inventory targets, including business analysis and safety stock settings for the category.
- Lead product lifecycle management (NPI, phase-in/out, EOL) for category products.
- Optimize inventory and assets in collaboration with SCM teams.
Supply & Risk Management
- Identify and proactively mitigate supply risks and gaps jointly with supply/commercial teams.
- Oversee supply status and ensure smooth business operations linked to production planning.
Data Management & Systems
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of sales and demand data for the category.
- Operate and troubleshoot systems (e.g., SAP, ERP) as needed.
Communication & Reporting
- Proactively communicate category forecasts, business plans, and risks/opportunities to leadership, Finance, and Marketing.
- Co-lead budget and business plan processes, collaborating across teams.
About You
- Proven Category Leader with excellent analytical skills, strategic mindset, and effective communication
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in demand forecasting/planning, end-to-end supply processes, and business management.
- Deep understanding of supply chain, with strong financial competency.
- Skilled with systems (SAP/ERP), MS Office, and forecasting tools.
- Experience leading multi-cultural teams and implementing cross-functional changes.
- Outstanding leadership, responsibility, and follow-through; drives teams to deliver results and maintains high accountability.
- Able to run S&OP processes with multiple functions and management.
- Hands-on approach with practical supply chain experience from both manufacturer and retailer perspectives.
- Minimum 7–10 years¡¯ experience in demand/sales planning
- Retail and e-commerce planning experience preferred.
