1. Position
- PFG Sales Engineer (Process
Filtration)
2. Position Summary
Responsible
for maintaining/increasing sales volume and margin with existing and new
accounts within Process Filtration Business (Key account). Accountable for
executing assigned sales goals and sales plans within designated customers
and/or within a designated sales territory. Actively support the corporation's
Win Strategy. Proactively works with divisional management and related support
departments to ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded.
Represents company at trade shows and other professional activities. Reports to
Sales Manager.
3. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for major
CMO/CDMO and biopharmaceutical clients manufacturing mAb products.
- Ensures OOO Filtration products are specified to
maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an
account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical
knowledge of PFG group/ KFD divisional products, applications, features,
advantages, and benefits. Keeps up with internal and external training and
development.
- Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering
firms, major accounts.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of
competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports,
on a regular and/or monthly basis.
- Participates in the development and implementation
of appropriate response strategies.
- Assist the divisions in planning strategy to
provide the products and service required for their assigned accounts.
- Provide product training at the customer levels.
- Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to
OOO.
4. Scope/Supervision & Interaction
- Reports to Sales Manager. Works with direct
customers, and field sales for filter division products.
- Basic business analysis: Sales analysis, Promotion
analysis, Project¡¯s review
- Basic research analysis: Latest trend analysis,
Competitor products and price analysis
- Customer understanding: Focus on customer needs
such as new products, problem and so on
- Marketing plan development: Annual and long-term
marketing plan, New products launch, Create new marketplace
5. Qualifications
- Bachelor¡¯s degree in Biology, Chemistry,
Biochemistry or related Life Science field.
- 5+ years of work experience in sales and 3+ years
in technical sales in Biotech/Biopharm Development / Manufacturing marketplace.
- Strong understanding of mAb manufacturing
processes(Upstream & Downstream)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and
written
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to travel overnight as required
- Must have proven track record of performing or exceeding performance level.
- Four-year college degree with material engineering
major preferred or equivalent experience.
