Your responsibilities
• Position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in the local market through strong commercial and home furnishing competence.
• Create up-to-date room settings and store media that reflect the IKEA identity and deliver strong visual impact.
• Lead, recruit, and develop the Interior Design team, including competence development and succession planning.
• Translate home visit insights into locally relevant, functional, aesthetic, and commercial home furnishing solutions.
• Build a dynamic Showroom matrix reflecting diverse styles, living situations, and price levels.
• Secure high-quality, simple, and cost-effective execution using global tools and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of home furnishing, retail, and trends to inspire creative direction.
• Support department action plans focused on business growth and long-term profitability.
• Act quickly on commercial opportunities and ensure team understanding of financial impact.
• Deliver a visitor-focused shop floor experience with minimal disruption and clear communication.
