What we need:

 

Reporting to the Korea Finance Director, this integral role in the Korean financial function will help drive reporting, compliance and finance operations. The successful candidate will have a numerical and hands on approach with strong communication skills. They will be a team player as part of the dynamic Digital Edge finance team but also have the experience and ability to work autonomously on assigned responsibilities.

 

This role will be based in Seoul, Korea.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

¡¤        Prepare and keep monthly/quarterly/annual financial accounts.

¡¤        Monitor, and enforce tax compliance, adherence with Group and KGAAP accounting policies and other regulatory requirements.

¡¤        Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations of the Korean business (accounts payable and receivable functions) and assist with treasury management, through cash flow forecasting.

¡¤        Assist in preparation of annual P&L and capex budgets, and subsequent analysis and reporting of performance against budget.

¡¤        Vendor management and preparation of regular payment run

¡¤        Support decision making with project analysis and ad-hoc requests

¡¤        Other functions needed (i.e. billing/collection of AR, e-VAT management)

 

 

 

The successful candidate:

¡¤        Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

¡¤        About 10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial closing/reporting/analysis

¡¤        Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners

¡¤        An ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

¡¤        Good command of English
