[´ã´ç¾÷¹«] CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE VM Team Lead is responsible for leading the holistic in-store experience by orchestrating Visual Merchandising and Store Architecture to deliver a consistent, premium customer journey that drives brand affinity and business growth. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping aesthetically refined, customer-centric retail environments that translate into commercial success as well.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES O Brand Visual Identity & Strategy - Define and oversee the brand¡¯s global visual identity strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand and marketing objectives. - Translate brand values and storytelling into compelling visual concepts across physical and digital channels. - Lead the development of brand visual guidelines, seasonal campaign toolkits, and store presentation standards. - Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and retail teams to maintain brand consistency and elevate visual storytelling.
O Store Design & Architecture - Lead the design strategy for retail environments, including new store concepts, renovations, and pop-up executions. - Oversee all stages of store design and build — from concept development to construction and final delivery & ensuring design excellence and operational efficiency. - Manage relationships with external design agencies, architects, and contractors. - Ensure that store design reflects the brand identity while optimizing functionality, customer flow, and product visibility.
O Visual Merchandising & In-Store Experience - Develop and implement in-store visual merchandising strategies that enhance product presentation and customer engagement. - Create seasonal VM guidelines, window displays, and product zoning plans for all retail formats. - Monitor execution quality across stores and ensure brand standards are maintained consistently. - Analyze visual performance metrics (sell-through, conversion, customer engagement) and optimize strategies accordingly.
O Team Leadership & Development - Lead and mentor two sub-teams: Visual Merchandising (2 members) and Store Architecture (2 members). - Coach and develop 8 outsourced field trainers to ensure on-brand execution across all retail locations. - Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement.
O Budget & Project Management - Manage the annual budget for visual experience, including store design, VM materials, and outsourced training. - Optimize resources and timelines across multiple projects to achieve both creative and financial goals. - Negotiate with external partners and vendors to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience -
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Visual
Merchandising, or a related field. -
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in premium retail environments. -
Strong design sensibility with proven ability to create refined, brand-aligned
retail spaces. -
Solid understanding of customer journey mapping and in-store behavior
optimization. -
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors. -
Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). -
Strong project management and multitasking skills, with attention to both
detail and big-picture vision. -
Excellent communication and leadership abilities; experience in coaching and
team development.
