We are seeking a passionate Medical Director for our Oncology Group to lead the research and development of groundbreaking AI-powered oncology solutions. This role will oversee clinical research activities and play a crucial role in developing AI models and biomarker algorithms.

🚩 Roles & Responsibilities
Commercial development of AI-powered oncology biomarkers in close collaboration with AI, software, and business teams.
Participating in global business projects related to AI-powered oncology biomarkers.
Providing medical expertise and managing scientific communication.
Clinical research of AI-powered oncology biomarkers:
Conducting internal and external collaborative research using diverse pathology-based AI models.
Summarizing research findings for abstract presentations at major conferences (ASCO, ESMO, SITC) and writing research papers.
Communicating with external clinical researchers regarding collaborative studies.
Development and improvement of AI model and derived biomarker algorithms:
Collaborating with the AI research team to train new models and establish improvement directions for existing models.
Establishing an overall data collection plan and performing initial data preprocessing.
Evaluating AI model performance and proposing improvement strategies based on clinical requirements.
Requirements
🎯 Qualifications
MD, PharmD, or MS/PhD (biostatistics, bioinformatics, or related), or significant work experience in cancer biology/therapeutics, with graduation within the last 10 years (within 5 years for PhD).
Experience in clinical data analysis using R, Python, or other languages
Deep understanding and knowledge of AI
Proven track record of successfully conducting medical research
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts and clinical data to diverse audiences
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with demonstrated success in conducting medical research
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Able to communicate professionally in English and collaborate closely with international colleagues across different time zones
🏅 Preferred Experiences
MD with residency and/or fellowship training
Experience in leading at least 1 clinical research project in a lead role
Major authorships of medical papers: ¡Ã1 paper (IF 10+ journal) or ¡Ã2 papers (IF 5+ journal)
Deep understanding of statistics and clinical data analysis
Direct experience in AI model development in the medical field
Knowledge of biomarkers, companion diagnostics, or immuno-oncology
