  • We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager for Korea to support the sale and adoption of GenISys¡¯ software products.
  • Duties include pre-sale (promotion and demonstration of product, technical support of evaluations), sales (quotation and closing) and post-sale support (installation, training, debugging and resolving customer issue). The Account Manager actively develops the business with existing and new accounts by combining sales and technical support.
  • Job Qualifications

  • Successful degree in a science, technology, or engineering discipline paired with 3+ years of experience in technical support and/or sales of lithography software or equipment

  • Good IT background, familiarity with Windows and Linux OS, high-level scripting/programming skills (e.g. Python) in the CAD environment
  • Individuals with a strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills are preferred.

  • Job Description
  • Account Manager
  • The Account Manager within the GenISys organization have a strong contribution to commercial business success. They are key members of the marketing and sales organization together with the regional sales manager have a direct influence to the sales and account management within their region. Their contribution to the sales process is:
  • 1. Presales

  • They contribute to regional marketing activities (exhibition, conferences, technical workshops and sales tours) to identify prospects for GenISys products in their specified region. During this phase they demonstrate GenISys product, prepare technical marketing material and answer technical and commercial question. They provide price information and quotation. They are responsible for the planning and managing of successful technical evaluations with potential customers in strong technical cooperation with the regional field application engineer. This may require customer visiting or on line presentations for both training and technical discussions. During this phase the field application engineer will work closely with the account manager to meet with the customers¡¯ requirements to be able to close the business to the point of purchase order.
  • 2. Closing (getting purchase order) and delivery process

  • The account manager is responsible for aligning the technical specification and commercial conditions during the process for obtaining the final purchase order. They are responsible for handling the purchasing and delivery process of the required software and licenses according to technical specification and commercial condition being ordered. They will support the customer during installation and align with the application engineer for the on-site or online training (s) to enable the customer to be able to use the software for their specific applications.
  • 3. Post-Sales Support

  • After order and installations are completed the account manager will work and support all customers within there region actively to enable them to use the software successfully. He is using resources of the regional field application engineer for comprehensive technical support. This includes the technical support on how to use the software by phone, e-mail, internet and working actively with the customer on using and optimizing the software for their specific application in co-operation and alignment with the field application engineer. They will actively follow the fix of his customer issues during the development process and actively communicate on new releases, versions with bug-fixes and enhancement to his accounts. The account manager will work actively on users in his region for renewing their software update contracts by providing quotation early before end of service period, active follow-up. He actively works on selling upgrades, additional licenses. He arranges regular active communication (phone calls, on-line session, on-site visits) to update the accounts and to get feedback on their needs and wishes. 

  • The Account Manager has also a key contribution to business development, product management and development. Following are key contributions:

  • 1. Business development

  • The account manager provides feedback on the needs and wishes of his customer and prospects. He identifies business opportunities and reports it back the corporate management and product management. They actively contribute to corporate business planning.

  • 2. Product Roadmap and Development

  • The account manager reports and follow their customer needs and wishes for the product roadmap and futures release planning. They contribute to overall specification and testing of the feature during the development cycle time.

  • 3. Release Process

  • The account manager will contribute to the Alpha- and Beta-testing period of new releases with special focus on fixes, enhancements and features related to their accounts. They are responsible for communication and distribution of the release to their accounts.

  • The Regional Account Manager within the GenISys organization is part of the salesorganization working actively with customer during the pre-sales and post-sales process as the technical partner of the Regional Sales Manager taking care of the commercial part. He is combining sales and technical skills for handling to handle accounts in both aspects. Following are requirements to the profile of the candidate:

  • - Should have: Electron Beam and/or Optical Lithography and/or Metrology & Inspection knowledge and experience
  • - Nice to have: GenISys or other lithography dataprep & simulation software
  • - Must have: General Windows, MS-Office, PC
