What
we need:
Reporting to the Data Centre Operations Manager, this role will perform the fundamental function to
keep operational readiness of Digital Edge Data Center environment in daily
operation on 24/7 shift. This role will be based in Incheon, Korea.
Key
responsibilities:
¡¤
Hardware & Network Management
o Rack
& Stack: Install, move, and decommission customer equipment
o Structured
Cabling: Install, test, and troubleshoot cross-connects (Fiber, Copper, Coax)
per SOPs, ensuring cable management and labeling.
o Advanced
Circuits: Deploy and test complex circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.) using
appropriate testing equipment (e.g., Fluke, OTDR).
¡¤
Incident Management
o Execute
incident management procedures, including troubleshooting, reporting, and
escalation to meet strict SLAs.
o 24/7
Monitoring: Proactively monitor Digital Edge¡¯s operational architecture and
customer applications.
o Alarm
Response: Respond to facility and network alarms in accordance with Digital
Edge procedures.
o Remote
Hands: Provide professional "Remote Hands" support for customers,
including power cycles, and parts replacements.
¡¤
Operational Excellence & Asset Management
o Asset
Management: Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including receiving, unboxing,
inventory auditing, and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes.
o Documentation:
Build, assess, and continuously improve internal/external controlled
documentation, including site-specific SOPs/MOPs.
o Vendor
Management: Escort and supervise third-party vendors to ensure work quality with
security and safety protocols.

Security & Safety (EHS)
o Access
Control: Enforce strict security policies for all people in the data center.
o
Safety Standards: Adhere to Environment,
Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
The successful candidate:
¡¤
Diploma/ Degree in computer science,
engineering or equivalent experience
¡¤
1+ years¡¯ experience in site
operations or related major in a college.
¡¤
Technical Skills:
o Basic
knowledge of network, including the OSI model and TCP/IP networking.
o Experienced
in cleaning, inspecting, and connecting fiber and copper cables
¡¤
Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy
equipment (up to 20kg) and work on ladders.
¡¤
Shift Work: Full commitment to a 24/7/365
rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
¡¤
Language: Proficiency
in English is preferred for communicating and reporting.
