About the Role:
As the Global Head of SQM for Ultrasound, you will lead the global strategy and teams responsible for supplier quality for Ultrasound systems, transducers, and catheter based devices—spanning both Class II and Class III medical devices. You will collaborate closely with global Quality, Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure that our suppliers consistently meet the highest standards of performance, compliance, and innovation.
You will drive global supplier quality processes, strengthen partnerships with critical suppliers, and build operational excellence across a diverse supply base supporting our rapidly evolving Ultrasound business.

What You Will Do
- Lead and develop a global Supplier Quality Management organization.
- Drive supplier qualification, capability assessment, monitoring, and improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance to global medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA QSR, MDR).
- Partner with R&D and Quality Engineering on Non-conformance avoidance and supplier readiness.
- Own global supplier audits, escalations, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strengthen collaboration with Manufacturing sites across multiple regions.
- Support business continuity through robust supplier risk management and strategic supplier development.
- Travel internationally up to 30%.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Operations, or related roles in a regulated medical device or highly regulated industry.

- Strong experience with hardware, electromechanical, and complex suppliers (preferably Ultrasound systems, transducers, or catheter technologies).

- Proven leadership of global teams and global supplier networks.

- Deep understanding of Class II/III medical device regulatory requirements.

- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and supplier relationship management skills.

- Ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment and influence across functions.
