Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or JD.
- 5 years of experience of leading a team and also with people management.
- Experience in Korea and Greater China entertainment ecosystem, including music copyrights and financial models.
- Experience influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate vertically integrated markets and regulatory challenges (e.g., regulatory shifts).
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

The APAC Music Partnerships team is responsible for driving the in-market artist and label relations strategy, managing day-to-day engagement with creative partners, and advocating YouTube¡¯s ecosystem within the music community. In this role, the responsibilities include executing artist campaigns, enhancing partner content performance, and providing guidance on product adoption to enhance artist growth. - Lead and manage a high-performing team of music partner managers across Korea and Greater China, providing mentorship and career development while representing YouTube at the highest levels to maintain C-level relationships with global and local majors, and artists.
- Shape and execute commercial business strategies for the region, aligning global priorities with local dynamics, while navigating complex regulatory landscapes and government relations to protect YouTube's interests and support the digital music ecosystem.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Legal, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Product and Engineering, Marketing to drive partnerships and operations, while identifying partnership opportunities that expand YouTube's footprint in the regional music market.
- Support complex music licensing negotiations with partners to ensure and growth, while growing business across the YouTube platform.
- Be the official ¡®Regional Market Strategist¡¯ and leader.
