The primary focus of the Training Manager is to manage and build the sales capability and operational effectiveness of the Sales team. They will be required to engage with internal Sales, Marketing and other business functions to develop training materials and tools and then implement these across the Sales team and key retail partners.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Sales Capability Development and Operational Effectiveness
Drive sales performance by continuously building the sales expertise of Dyson Experts, with focused training that enhances their contribution to revenue growth.
Develop and implement training tools, materials, and systems, ensuring effective field execution and in-store demonstration.
Lead comprehensive onboarding for new team members, covering Dyson sales processes, product knowledge, and relevant systems and reporting.
Maintain the Sales Capability framework, collaborating with HR and Sales Managers for consistent assessment, coaching, and development.
Training Content Development & Localization
Develop tailored sales training content, adapting global materials to suit Korea¡¯s local market conditions and consumer needs through close communication with global headquarters.
Work proactively with HQ to share local market insights, deliver clear direction for Korea¡¯s training approach, and ensure alignment.
Liaise closely with Marketing to produce sales aids and ensure all content is relevant, practical, and impactful for field teams.
Product Expertise, Competitor Awareness, and Field Coaching
Ensure that the sales team are experts in Dyson¡¯s products and capable of articulating key features and benefits, including competitive differentiation.
Foster a strong product culture within the team, encouraging advocacy for Dyson technology.
Take responsibility for ongoing tracking of Dyson¡¯s past, present, and future product range, as well as competitor products.
Recognize the importance of field coaching, planning and conducting regular evaluations and capability development sessions to support the continuous improvement of Dyson Experts.
People Management & Team Leadership
Guide the team with clear communication on training direction and strategy, offering mentorship to help them grow professionally and add value to Dyson¡¯s customers.
Run regular 1-on-1s, sharing wider business strategy and individual development plans.
Motivate and inspire the team, fostering creative problem-solving and improvement.
Serve as an effective communicator and connector with other departments to prepare training that is practical, actionable, and reflective of real market conditions.
Cross-functional Engagement and Continuous Improvement
Actively collaborate with other functions across Dyson Korea to develop training that integrates market realities and practical operational needs.

Previous skills & experience:
Over 10+years of training experience
High field engagement
Understanding Retail Market and client¡¯s needs (sales closing)
Knowledge of using best practice sales process

Excellent organizational and planning skills
Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business
Presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
