Role Overview

At Inspire Arena, the Automation (Rigging System) plays a critical role in delivering safe, precise, and dynamic stage productions by controlling overhead rigging equipment (such as hoists, trusses, and control systems) through automated operations during concerts and events.

This position is responsible for the overall management of automation rigging system operations, safety, and personnel, and serves as the key decision-maker for all technical matters related to overhead rigging. The Automation Assistant Manager holds final accountability for system stability and operational quality during large-scale concerts and complex events.




1) Automation Assistant Manager(8년 이상) - 무대기계 1급보유자


Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall operation of the Automation Rigging System

• Develop and coordinate rigging operation plans in alignment with performance, event, installation, and dismantling schedules

• Manage, train, and assign duties to Supervisors and subordinate team members

• Coordinate and conduct technical consultations with production companies, promoters, and external technical teams

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, applicable laws, and internal standards related to rigging systems

• Support equipment maintenance planning, budgeting, and asset management

• Report operational status and issues to the Technical Manager.


Minimum Qualifications


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in arena or theater operations, with a background in rigging or related stage technical fields

• Holder of a Stage Machinery Level 1 Certification (Certified Stage Arts Professional)

• Completion of stage technology-related training and certifications preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• In-depth understanding of Automation Rigging System structures and control logic

• Strong knowledge of performance production processes and overall stage technology

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Strong sense of responsibility with a safety-first mindset

• Ability to interpret and utilize technical drawings and design plans



2) Automation Supervisor(5년 이상) - 무대기계 3급이상보유자


Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and on-site activities of the Automation Rigging System

• Directly operate and supervise rigging operations during performances and events

• Provide on-site guidance and training for Senior Coordinators and Coordinators

• Conduct system inspections and testing, and manage corrective actions in the event of system failures or fault history occurrences

• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and manage on-site operational risks

• Report operational status and issues to the Assistant Manager


Minimum Qualifications


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in arena or theater operations, with a background in rigging or related stage technical fields

• Holder of a Stage Machinery Level 3 Certification (Certified Stage Arts Professional)

• Completion of stage technology-related training and certifications preferred



Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Solid understanding of Automation Rigging System structures and control systems

• Practical knowledge of hoists, trusses, and control systems

• Strong situational awareness and ability to respond promptly to on-site conditions

• Effective teamwork and communication skills



3) Automation Sr. Coordinator(2년 이상) - 무대기계 3급이상보유자


Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and partially operate the Automation Rigging System during performances and events

• Perform rigging setup, testing, and checklist procedures prior to performances

• Review and verify equipment usage plans in accordance with available system assets

• Conduct equipment maintenance and scheduled inspections

• Support Coordinator team members and collaborate closely on-site


Minimum Qualifications


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in arena or theater operations, with a background in rigging or related stage technical fields

• Holder of a Stage Machinery Level 3 Certification (Certified Stage Arts Professional)

• Completion of stage technology-related training and certifications preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Understanding of the basic structure and operating principles of Automation Rigging System equipment

• Fundamental knowledge of hoists, trusses, and control systems

• Ability to understand and follow manuals and work instructions

• Strong sense of responsibility and effective teamwork skills


4) Automation Coordinator(1년 이상)


Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support Automation Rigging System operations and provide on-site assistance

• Assist with the installation, dismantling, and relocation of rigging equipment

• Organize equipment and perform basic inspections before and after performances

• Track equipment inventory and verify usage quantities

• Perform tasks safely in accordance with instructions from senior staff


Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in arena or theater operations, with a background in rigging or related stage technical fields

• Completion of stage technology-related training and certifications preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Basic understanding of stage technical equipment structures and a willingness to learn

• Fundamental knowledge of hoists, trusses, and control systems

• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines

• Strong work ethic and effective teamwork skills




Physical Demands and Work Environment:


• Extensive knowledge of rigging systems, including safety regulations for trusses, hoists, and motors

• Strong leadership and communication capabilities

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

• Ability to perform work at height and sustain long hours in operational environments

• Flexibility to adjust work schedules in support of resort-wide operations

• Must be willing to travel locally and regionally to conduct business, and occasional travel within Korea. (해외 여행의 결격 사유가 없는 자)
