Position Summary:
The Outlet Assistant Manager reports to the Outlet Manager and is responsible for overseeing the operations and activities of their designated outlet(s). Key responsibilities include updating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing daily service operations to deliver consistent and exceptional guest experience. The role encompasses all Front of House (FOH) operations, including outlet and bar management, revenue optimization, safety and sanitation compliance, cost control, team building, and employee development.
This role demands a proactive and adaptable leader with exceptional problem-solving and leadership abilities, capable of inspiring the team to provide outstanding guest service to resort guests, associates, and visitors. As a brand ambassador, the Outlet Assistant Manager drives strategic direction and ensures alignment with the resort's goals and standards.
In the absence of the Outlet Manager, this position takes on full managerial responsibilities to maintain seamless operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support the Outlet Manager in managing the department budget, adjusting cost performance proactively based on revenue projections to achieve profitability.
- Define daily targets and budget responsibilities, ensuring team members are trained to manage these effectively.
- Monitor and maintain high operational standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Assist the Outlet Manager in delivering relevant food and beverage offerings that meet guest preferences.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional standards, maximizing product availability, and exceeding guest expectations through proactive feedback and action plans.
- Contribute to the development of promotion plans to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage stock levels to optimize working capital while maintaining appropriate monitoring procedures.
- Implement performance measurement systems to evaluate the outlet¡¯s performance against competitors.
- Perform shift duties as required, including weekends and public holidays, ensuring seamless operations for guests and employees.
Communication:
- Foster close collaboration with the Culinary Team to ensure seamless integration of food and beverage offerings.
- Address operational challenges with a committed, energetic, and positive approach.
- Drive sales by staying informed on current consumer trends and demands.
- Demonstrate and promote Inspire Service Standards and core values across the team.
Decision-Making & Autonomy:
- Oversee the daily operations and ambiance of the outlet(s) to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Apply margin reporting tools to meet financial targets, including managing stock-takes and implementing promotional strategies.
- Ensure clear, logical strategies are updated quarterly and align with INSPIRE Entertainment Resort¡¯s brand goals.
Applied Knowledge & Specialist Skills:
- Stay updated on industry trends to maintain competitive and appealing offerings.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, including signage and product presentation.
- Support the development of detailed specification manuals to maintain consistency in service and product delivery.
Managing Resources:
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set action plans, and provide on-the-job coaching to develop team members.
- Implement and monitor employee development initiatives to ensure continued growth and engagement.
- Establish clear objectives for employees, ensuring annual appraisals are conducted.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability and promote guest service training as a core practice.
- Strive to improve team satisfaction scores by giving feedback on leadership, teamwork, and the working environment.
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor¡¯s degree in hospitality or a related field is recommended.
- Minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Outlet Manager (or 4 years as Supervisor) in a high-volume, complex casino or hotel environment.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in luxury hotels or equivalent experience in a related industry is required
- Demonstrated experience in pre-opening project management and guest service standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Extensive knowledge of the property and local destinations.
- High maturity level to manage discerning guest requests.
- Fluency in Business English is required; proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Familiar with the operation work environment.
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
- Ability to work on his/her own feet for eight hours or more.
