Position Summary


The Associate Director of MICE Sales is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the Director of MICE Sales in overseeing both domestic and international MICE sales functions.

This role acts as a strategic bridge across teams, driving sales performance, strengthening internal alignment, and ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives.

In addition, this position plays a critical role in supporting international market development, managing global sales channels, and serving as the primary point of contact for Hilton Global Sales Office and Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS).




Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):


• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the domestic MICE market, targeting MICE and corporate business.

• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of group room and catering revenue, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Manage and coach the MICE Sales Team, overseeing team performance, individual KPIs, and professional development.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, DMCs, and corporate accounts within the local market to drive new and repeat business.

• Collaborate with MICE Planning and Banquet Operations to ensure seamless event execution, drive client satisfaction, and support operational excellence.

• Work cross-functionally with Revenue, Marketing, and Hotel Operations teams to align strategies and maximize revenue.

• Represent the resort at major trade shows, networking events, and client engagement activities to strengthen brand visibility and pipeline.

• Provide regular reporting on sales activities, team performance, revenue outlook, and market trends to Director of MICE Sales

• Anticipate and resolve client issues or operational challenges promptly to maintain strong, trust-based relationships.

• Contribute to the development of sales tools, proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.

• Champion best practices and service standards to elevate the overall MICE experience at INSPIRE.

• Act as the key deputy to the Director of MICE Sales, supporting overall team leadership, performance management, and strategic execution across domestic and international markets.

• Serve as a bridge between local and international sales teams, ensuring alignment of strategy, communication, and business priorities.

• Drive sales performance and identify opportunities to boost revenue across segments, actively supporting key accounts and high-impact deals.

• Oversee international lead intake, qualification, and distribution to ensure effective conversion and pipeline management.

• Serve as the primary point of contact (PoC) for Hilton Global Sales Office and Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS), ensuring strong collaboration and maximizing global sales opportunities.

• Monitor global market trends and provide insights to enhance competitiveness in international MICE segments.





Education and Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or experience in related field.

• 10+ years of experience in MICE sales

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Highly organized, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

• Solution-oriented and passionate about delivering results and service excellence.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

• Fluent Korean and English written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong understanding of international MICE markets and global sales structures.

• Experience working with global hotel sales networks (e.g., Hilton Worldwide Sales, Global Sales Offices) is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to manage both domestic and international sales functions.

• Experience in handling global accounts, international clients, or multi-market sales strategies is a strong advantage.
