[Position Summary]

This position is responsible for leading company-wide Learning & Development, Culture & Engagement initiatives. The role oversees the design and delivery of targeted training programs, supports organizational change, and leads efforts to strengthen corporate culture and employee engagement. Additionally, the role provides leadership and coaching to the relevant teams as Talent Development Partner across all levels.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


1. Learning & Development

• Assess company-wide training needs with a strong focus on guest-centric behavior and leadership capabilities.

• Design and deliver customized training sessions including:

• Establish consistent instructional methods and measurement tools to evaluate learning transfer and business impact.

• Partner with guest survey vendors to link guest feedback with training effectiveness and engaged workforce culture.

• Manage external training vendors and coordinate external training programs.

• Plan and track mandatory regulatory training for all personnel to ensure compliance with local laws.

• Assist with the preparation and verification of the annual HRD budget and resolve discrepancies.


2. Culture & Engagement

• Develop and execute strategies to strengthen corporate culture and enhance employee engagement.

• Design and lead culture-building initiatives, including recognition programs, internal communication campaigns, and team-building activities.

• Monitor engagement levels through surveys and feedback channels and develop action plans to address gaps.

• Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and guest-centricity across all departments.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cultural consistency and alignment with company values.

• Organize tours and presentations for high school and college students/professors to build employer brand and future talent pipeline.


3. People Management & Operational Support

• Oversee the L&D team, providing leadership, coaching, performance appraisals, and progressive discipline as HRD Partner.

• Train, evaluate, and counsel team members to ensure high performance.

• Work with departmental Managers and Trainers on various training and culture initiatives.

• Manage vendor relationships for equipment, repairs, and external services.

• Ensure knowledge of corporate policies, report writing systems, databases, and Learning Management System (LMS) via ERP




Minimum Education and Qualifications:


• Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 8+ years of overall HR experience (HRD, Culture)

• Proven experience in HRD and Culture & Engagement initiatives.

• Experience in Hospitality(IR, Luxury Hotel) preferred

• Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR information systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean & English

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and presentation software.

• Basic understanding of budget process and cost/benefit analysis.

• Ability to work various shifts and flexible hours, including occasional evening/weekend events.
