Summary
The Manager (or Assistant Manager) of Entertainment Sales is a strategic role responsible for sourcing, curating, and securing world class entertainment content across the entire INSPIRE Resort, with a particular focus on elevating INSPIRE Arena as a core business and flagship entertainment platform.
This position leads global content sourcing initiatives by building and maintaining close, long-term relationships with major global agencies and promoters across key markets including the United States, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and other strategic territories. Through these partnerships, the role ensures that all sourced content aligns with INSPIRE¡¯s brand direction, business strategy, target audience, and long term entertainment vision.
This role requires a deep understanding of global and local entertainment market dynamics, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to translate market insights into medium to long term content strategies. As a key leader within the Entertainment Team, this position works closely with Entertainment leadership to define direction, priorities, and roadmap for arena and resort-wide entertainment programming.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
• Global Content Sourcing
• Lead resort-wide entertainment content sourcing, with ownership of the Arena¡¯s content pipeline
• Build and sustain close strategic relationships with major global agencies, promoters, artist management companies, and IP owners
• Act as INSPIRE¡¯s primary representative to the global entertainment industry
• Identify exclusive, first to market, and differentiated content opportunities suited to INSPIRE¡¯s positioning
• Market Intelligence & Long-Term Planning
• Monitor and analyze global and local entertainment trends, touring cycles, artist economics, and promoter strategies
• Translate market insights into long-term content planning and multi year show strategies
• Develop a strategic show roadmap that balances commercial performance, brand value, and audience growth
• Advise Entertainment leadership on market timing, risk, and opportunity for major bookings
• Strategic Alignment & Leadership
• Work closely with the Director / Assistant Director of Entertainment to define entertainment direction and priorities
• Ensure all content aligns with INSPIRE brand, casino demand drivers, resort traffic strategy, and revenue goals
• Collaborate with Project Management, Arena Operations, Casino, Marketing, and Finance teams for seamless execution
• Hand over fully negotiated and structured deals to Project Management for execution
• Commercial & Deal Structuring
• Lead commercial negotiations including co-promotions, leases, guarantees, and buy-out deals
• Build standalone P&Ls and financial scenarios for internal approval
• Ensure commercial terms reflect both short-term profitability and long-term strategic value
Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Entertainment, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in entertainment content sourcing, artist booking, or promoter-side negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with major global entertainment agencies and promoters
• Possess strong network of music industry contacts relevant to fulfilling this role
• Strong consumer & industrial knowledge for Entertainment/Hospitality/Integrated Resort business
• Native-level or fully fluent English (mandatory)
• Chinese and/or Japanese proficiency is highly preferred
