Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the Business Center at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort and reports directly to the Assistant Director of MICE Planning. The Business Center Specialist handles daily business center operations and serves as the on-site contact, ensuring the smooth execution of to medium-to large sized events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Work at the Business Center, which operates from Monday to Friday, and provide professional assistance to guests using the facility. Strive to always ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead the Business center team to ensure efficient daily operation.
- Manage the Business Center¡¯s main services, including meeting room rentals, workspace usage, printing and scanning, as well as handling related billing and payments.
- Provide sufficient training to Business coordinators especially newly joined team members.
- Produce necessary event materials for all functions organized by the MICE Planning Team (e.g., menu cards, nameplates, DID content, etc.).
- As a member of the MICE Planning Team, plan and handle medium to large-size events directly.
- Record daily catering revenue in the Actualization Report.
- Create a monthly Business center revenue report.
- Business Center Specialist is expected to assist with team leadership duties such as leading by example in conflict resolution, client management, system administrative management, timely communicating client¡¯s needs to hotel staff, supporting DoMICE and ADoMICE Planning with event Specialist management, meeting services providers such as Audio-Visual partners, outside vendors before, during and after event to ensure a high level of service.
- Business Center Specialist will be the point of contact for assigned bookings and communicate directly with clients based on the required timeline.
- Creates and issues BEOs and Group rooming list and resume to related department for internal communication and find the most effective way to deliver the group¡¯s requirement to lead the success.
- Attend weekly MICE Communication meetings with relevant departments to present event logistics and details to the internal teams.
- Responsible for post-event follow ups such as Thank you letter and meeting planner survey and share the comment with the related teams.
- Learn and adopt INSPIRE Entertainment Resort¡¯s service strategy and brand initiative in all aspects of the planning process.
- Interact effectively with guests/clients, sales and kitchen, vendors, competitors, local community, catering associations, and other departments to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and monitoring their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
- Retains and develops the relationship with the meeting planners to contribute to the repeat business.
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to INSPIRE.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor¡¯s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing or related field
- A minimum of 1~3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills both in Korean and English
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
