Process System Engineer

[´ã´ç¾÷¹«]

Purpose: Take the process & process systems engineer role on bid opportunities & projects executed from the Company working within ASU & SVD or other industrial gas plants.

Nature and Scope: The job holder is the process system engineer (and Process engineer) in Korea Engineering team and reports directly to Engineering Manager. The primary accountability of the job is to bid and execute the process systems design of ASU & SVD and other industrial gas projects with the most competitive offering, on budget and on schedule.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Participation in review of Process Flow Diagrams.
2. Working within a multi-disciplined team to develop different revision P&ID. Mark up P&ID and check drafted P&ID by graphics team.
3. Develop Shutdown/Permissive/SNQ tables.
4. Collect flowsheet change notes information and prepare change notes for multi-disciplines¡¯ approval.
5. Publish different revision P&ID and Shutdown/Permissive/SNQ tables as necessary.
6. Participating in / leading P&ID review meetings (ORC, DHR) and managing the resolution of project technical issues.
7. Participating in plant reliability, operability and hazard reviews.
8. Working with the project team to ensure that the plant design is safe and in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
9. Liaise with other engineering disciplines to agree operational and interface details. Take the initiative in resolving interface problems. Identify areas where work processes could be developed or improved, and assist in implementing changes.
10. Preparation of plant operating manuals and procedures.
11. Provide on the job training and mentoring for less experienced engineers on a wide range of process design topics.
12. Any other duties as assigned

1. Bachelor or above degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering majors. Demonstrated skills at applying chemical or mechanical engineering.

2. Typically above 10 years working experience in design institute or relevant engineering field.

3. Understanding of how the process and machinery works, operates, and start/stop.

4. Proficiency in English written and oral communication.

5. Good computer skills. Good coaching and leading skills.

6. Team work and drive for result spirit.
