1. Position

- OEM Sales Engineer 


 2. Responsibilities

- Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM / Distribution customers.

- Ensures OOOO Filtration products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of PFG group/ KFD divisional products, applications, features, advantages, and benefits. 

- Keeps up with internal and external training and development.

- Understanding the standard cost and quotation for OEM

- Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major accounts.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis.

- Participates in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.

- Identify new business opportunities and manage distributors.

- Provide product training at the customer levels.

- Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to OOOO.


3. Qualifications

- Bachelor¡¯s degree (technical discipline may be required for some OOOO Groups) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales (Automotive and Construction Equipment market experience preference) of industrial technical products (Filtration product preference)

- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written

- Computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Must be able to travel overnight as required

- Applicable product and system certification preferred

- Must have proven track record of performing or exceeding performance level. 

- Four-year college degree with material engineering major preferred or equivalent experience.

- Highly motivated goal oriented and responsible.
